For just me. One person. I currently have the $5 a month I get 250 texts. But I want more. What are some other plans I can have?

The texting bundles verizon offers are as follows:
$5 – 250 msgs total
$10 – 500 msgs outside verizon, unlimited messages within verizon
$15 – 1500 msgs outside verizon, unlimited messages within verizon
$20 – 5000 msgs outisde verizon, unlimited messages within verizon.

If you’re on a single plan, you can get unlimited messages inside and outside verizon for $20.00/month. If you’re on a family plan, you can get unlimited messaging on all lines of service on the family plan for $30/month.

Im not much of a talker.
I surf the web alot, and i text alot, so which company should i join? Which is the cheapest?

Hi guys,
currently, we have a SINGLE Verizon wireless plan and a separate FAMILY plan. The family plan has 3 lines on it, but we would like to merge the other single plan with the family one. This way, one single plan comes with unlimited Data and phone calls. The other issue is, currently, we’re on a plan that does not have unlimited data- but we want it. Will we have to pay any cancellation fees (even though we’re not switching providers)?

Swiching it to another acct isnt canceling it, so there would be no fee. Its called an "Assumption of Liability". Its easily done. And when you move the single line to the family plan you can alter just that line if you want or all the lines as the whole family. I would call customer service since what you are wanting to do needs a little better communication than this.

The available plans are:

$5 for 250 total picture/text messages.

$10 for unlimited picture/text messages to other Verizon phones and 500 picture/text messages to other carriers.

No, it’s not included in the standard plans. You have to pay extra and can either pay daily or for monthly service. The monthly vcast service costs $15 per month. It’s really only worth it if you have long times to watch videos (basically if you ride public transit or work a really mundane job).
Verizon is rolling out 4g wireless, so hopefully there will be better vcast options for cheaper.
Right now I would say it’s probably not worth getting it, but you might as well sign up for a day to see if it’s worth it for you.

I live in NC, but call and travel to VA pretty often. What would be the best deal for a wireless plan?

they have great plans i have 3 phones $70 and 850..plus they have rollover so minutes you dont use.can be rolled over to next month so if you have 500 mintues and use them all and have 300 extra from last month instead of paying for extra minutes they just use the 300..and i have saved 3,495 rollover minutes )) i did have 6,000 and you can have up to a MILLION lol go Cingular

I’m selling my Verizon Wireless phone and plan to a friend to take over since I now have a new Cingular plan. All the searches I have done tend to result in pointing me towards CellTrader and other such sites, but that isn’t what I need. If anyone has any knowledge of the steps needed to transfer phone service between two people, please let me know. This information really needs to be specific to Verizon if it can, but I will take what I can get. Thanks in advance for all of your help.

im sure that the person u are selling it to would have to go and get their credit checked with verizon and pay a deposit if required before it can be put into their name.so both of u would have to go to a store and tell the customer service person what u are doing so they can start the transaction to transfer.

I need a wireless prepaid plan that allows me to call Alberta, Canada. I have a very special friend who lives in Calgary and need to stay in touch with them. I had a very good plan with one of the first tracfones that came out, but recently someone decided to steal it from me. Does anyone have any info that might help me?

You can just buy a prepaid phone from your area, and just pay the long distance. It will eat up your minutes faster, of course. Or, you can get one from Canada in the area you want to call. Then it would be proably the cheapest way to call.

I wanted this phone but im thinking that it will only offer the same data plans like the Blackberrys.. If you kow the plans please help me out.. thank you
